We keep our privacy policy under regular review so please do return and review this policy from time to time. This latest version has been updated on 27th May 2024.

 

The type of personal information we collect 

We currently collect and process the following information:

• Personal identifiers, contact details and characteristics (for example, name and contact details)

• Information about your property investment requirements if you are an investor (e.g. how much money you have to invest)

• Information about you and your property if you are a seller (contact details, address, sale price)

• Transaction Data includes details about payments to and from you

• Marketing and Communications Data includes your preferences in receiving marketing from us and our third parties and your communication preferences.

 

How we get the personal information and why we have it

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for the following reason:

• For Avandra Properties to be able to deliver the professional service you have requested us to complete on your behalf. We do not collect any personal information that is not required for us to deliver this service.

 

We use the information that you have given us in order to either:

• Source a property deal that fits with your requirements

• Organise a viewing of a property you want to lease to us

• Pass your details on (with your permission) to other people in the industry that may be able to help you if we can’t e.g. deal sourcers covering different regions, or other property investors.

How we store your personal information 

Your information is securely stored within Mailchimp, an ISO 27001 certified company.

Mailchimp utilizes 24/7 physical security with biometric scanners, the latest tech to secure its data, and DDOS mitigation at all data centers. It also has an infrastructure continuity plan in case of a nuclear attack. All data is also kept separate to prevent corruption.

We keep contact details until you withdraw permission. We will then dispose your information by deletion of database data.

 

Your data protection rights

Under data protection law, you have rights including:

Your right of access - You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information. 

Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete. 

Your right to erasure - You have the right to ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances. 

Your right to restriction of processing - You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances. 

Your right to object to processing - You have the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.

Your right to data portability - You have the right to ask that we transfer the personal information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
